Dr. Avi Hefetz is a surgeon in the Department of Oncology and Head and Neck Surgery of the “Assuta” Medical Center, a leading expert in the field of Oncology, ENT diseases and a member of the American and Israeli Association of Surgeons.
Dr. Avi Hefetz is a lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, Tel Aviv University as well as a member of the American and Israeli Association of Surgeons.

- 2-year head and neck cancer surgery specialization at the University of Oklahoma Jesus E Medina (USA).
Research and Practical Activities
After a 2-year internship in the U.S., Dr. Hefetz started working as chief surgeon of the department of otolaryngology, later becoming head of the MC Assuta department of otolaryngology.
Surgeon Hefetz specializes in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of head and neck tumors, as well as in, where appropriate, non-surgical treatment of diseases.
Dr. Avi Hefetz has successfully diagnosed and treated various forms of cancers. He also leds teams of surgeons during tumor removal and designates appropriate post-surgery procedures.
Lecturer Avi Hefetz teaches at the Tel Aviv University and is the author of more than 60 scientific world medical papers. He has also held more than 40 scientific presentations in Israel and abroad.
